This Milonga citadina is Dance # 4 of the Tango suite austral inspired by the Argentine genre. This piece contrasts sweetness with force, confronting the highest and lowest register of the piano. This piano solo tune evokes a night illuminated by the brightness of the full moon in a “chant” of a spiritual and sublime character.
