Tango. Purrete. Piano & Orchestra

Description

This piece is part of a collection of pedagogical works for piano inspired by Latin American dances and rhythms. Purrete is a tango –Argentine musical genre– that evokes a strong, melancholic and playful character, which includes typical tango gestures such as dragging, yumba, syncopation, among others. In addition, it emphasizes the development and awareness of the articulations that are fundamental for the interpretation of this musical genre. Likewise, the student will gain speed, strength and rhythmic control. Level 8.

The piano part is the same as the piano solo version in this orchestral version.

Instruments: 1 Piano, 5 Violin I, 5 Violin II, 3 Viola, 2 Cello, 1 Double Bass.
