Description

Party in the Sinú River is a work inspired by the palitiao porro from the Colombian Caribbean region which consists of 3 sections that alternate: dance, development and boza. This piece emulates some instruments typical of the organology of this musical genre such as the clarinet, the trumpet, the bass, the crash cymbals, the bass drum, the snare drum, among others, with their respective melodic and rhythmic twists. It has a cheerful, jocular and fun character that contrasts with the middle section of a melancholic, sweet and intimate spirit.
