Pasillo Study. Storm

Description

This piece is part of a collection of pedagogical works for piano inspired by Latin American dances and rhythms. Storm is a pasillo –dance from the Colombian Andean Region– with a strong and impetuous character that works on the release and independence of the fingers of the right hand, while the left explores the different registers of the piano. Thanks to its medium level of difficulty, it strengthens the student’s confidence and self-esteem. This work develops speed, strength and rhythmic control. Level 5.
