In pianistic interpretation I find a great opportunity to express my own voice through the pen of other creators, discovering in each work the emotional content that underlies it while trying to safeguard the composer’s intention. When the historical responsibility associated with the aesthetics, styles and personalities of the composers is added to their music, musicians are undoubtedly faced with a speculative world–which more than limitations, offers possibilities– where, as a performer, the pianist can set forth his knowledge, imagination and originality. All of this is enriched by the link between the performer and his audience, each time he is able to genuinely stir their hearts through his performance.
